The images above are taken from the library of shots which helped Brad to develop the theories that underpin 'SportBiometrics’ work.
In the course of this work he began to understand how injuries are caused and, in particular, how an understanding of biomechanical principles and my coaching methods allows players of all levels to avoid such injuries and improve the effectiveness of the nemesis shot with one blow.
In essence Brad realised that when a part of the body is stretched from other segments of the body, there is a division of purpose and that this is the site of injury. Although given time the injury will spread from the ‘hot-spot’ it is that initial separation which is the source of the problem.
Although for the last 15 years I have refined my understanding and continued to question the old orthodoxies, my coaching methods are based entirely on these fundamental insights. Immodest as it sounds, the success of my techniques has led many to believe that my professional and practical knowledge of sporting bio-mechanics, particularly in relation to tennis, is unmatched.
Wimbledon champion and also Brad's good friend, Pat Cash, with whom he has worked with for 13 years using these techniques, believes that Brad is “the best in the world” at what he does. Kind words, but the results do tend to speak for themselves.
